A Month

Yeah, it's been a month since I posted anything. I'll change that now and will post much more often in order to maintain interest.

Pictures...

We went to Sedona this weekend. It is very possibly to the most beautiful place in America. All it needs is beaches and it would be perfect. Anyways, here are some pictures.

Here is also a photo of Montezuma's Castle, an old Native ruin (1400 AD) about 1.5 hours North of metro Phoenix. It's a quick stop off the highway and we stopped there on the way to Sedona. It was pretty amazing to see such an old artifact in America, but we couldn't really enjoy the true awe from such a distance.

And lastly, here are a couple of photos of the Mission San Xavier de Blanc. This Spanish mission was founding in 1699 and is just barely outside of Tucson. The interior was stunning and reminded me of something that I would expect to see in Europe (rightfully so...) and the interior doors and passageways were tiny, probably an indication to the size of the people who built the mission. We visited while on a trip down to the Tucson area a few weeks ago where we also checked out the Titan Missile Museum, the only preserved Nuclear ICBM from the Cold War. It was pretty interesting to go down into the silo and it put the stress of the era into prospective.
