Greer, Arizona

A few photos by both Jessica and I taken on a day trip to Greer, Arizona.  Greer is in the Eastern part of the state almost at the New Mexico border.  It's about a 4 hour drive and due to being at 8,000 feet, the weather is on average about 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix.  Yesterday was barely 70F and the area gets huge snowfalls in the winter.

The photographs are very grainy as I didn't realize that the camera was set to the most sensitive ISO level.  A shame considering we had great landscapes to capture. I was wondering why the aperture & shutter speeds were so off!  I won't make the same mistake again...

Salt River Canyon.  Some call it the "Little Grand Canyon."  This is on highway 60 about 120 miles from Phoenix.

The road twist through the canyon and is a major attraction for motorcyclist.

Great pictures Rob...You can tell that your eye for photography is really developing; lots of leading lines and fantastic composition.

At this resolution, the ISO snaffu is barely visible! And don't worry, we've all done that at least once.

I'd just like to say Rob wasn't the only picture taker. I know he likes to take all the credit...
